Die Trauerfeier war Sonntag, 18. Juli 2021, um 12 Uhr auf dem Jüdischen Friedhof HH-Ohlsdorf, Ilandkoppel 68 in Hamburg-Ohlsdorf.
An incredible lady has just left this mortal world, having committed most of her life warning us of the dangers of fascism. Esther is someone who I have admired , who inspired me with her fighting spirit against fascism and her love for humanity; the time she has devoted to the youth of today many of whom are carrying on with her good work. I feel nothing but gratitude towards this wonderful lady and what a privilege to have met her. And to her family, can I just say thank you for letting us share Esther during her lifetime. She will be missed by so many people but that is nothing compared with your loss. Rest in peace Esther. Ruth Stender
